Artist’s Biography

Elizabeth Copan mastered her craft at The Cleveland Institute of Art where she earned her B.F.A. in Ceramics with a minor in Photography. 

Her unique combination of ceramics, photography, and printmaking has received critical acclaim from fellow artists, critics, and galleries across the United States, including Garth Clark and Mark Del Vecchio in New York City.  

In addition to exhibiting in galleries and traveling shows, Elizabeth is involved with the American Craft Council and the Potter's Council. She currently lives and works in Colorado where she designs and produces fine ceramic art for her company Studio Copán.

Copan is also involved with painting restoration and conservation at Kemper Galleries in Colorado Springs, CO.
